Yes he would, but I believe he is happy where he is. If he did get the job I would be so happy to have him back in the 10th region.

From an inside source of the high school, Jason Hinson rang the phones off the hook. Was declined numerous times because of no teaching degree. The requirements for the job were 2 years of head coaching, and also a teaching degree. So, I'm guessing the ones that met these requirements were trimmed to a select few which are given an interview. This is just what I heard from an inside office source of the Mason County High School. I would be surprised if Buddy Biggs wasn't named the head coach in the coming week(s). Seems to have a lot of support from around the town from the people I've spoken with.

How many AAU Coaches have become High School Head basketball coaches?

Yea, agree. AAU is what it is, but it's not the current high school game where a coach actually has to take the players who are enrolled at the school and make it work. AAU coaches go out and pick and choose an all-star team (most anyway). They coach, but it's a heckuva lot easier to win when you have more elite players.

I've heard from inside the school that 5 of the 45 are being interviewed. Buddy Biggs was one mentioned.

I went to Metro Exposure Camp in Louisville last night and was able to talk to quite a few coaches. The name everyone was talking about for Mason County...Buddy Biggs.

I expect it to be either Buddy Biggs or Brad Cox. If it's Biggs then Cox will stay as an assistance coach. He played for Biggs at Pendleton Co and coached under him there also.
