Looks like you guys got to go out and bring in some to compete in the 30th, after all that in season hype and getting waxed by Anderson Co in the district. The real season is in March.

No one from the 8th region, I think Oldham Co is a top 25 program, and even though it is a young program Collins is right up there.

WV is doing rather well in the AAU circuit as I understand, most of their rising Juniors are all playing together, just won the AAU state tourney at KBA few weekends back.

Going into the Spencer County game Collins was the best team that I had seen play in the 8th, outside, inside game with a strong defense. After the Spencer County game capable of beating anyone in the 8th, but also capable of losing to anyone in the 8th. Evidence of beating South and Anderson, but losing to Woodford and Shelby taking them into overtime.

Looks as if Billy is getting them ready for the run. Cordia's talent pool not very deep, only have 4 quality players and no bench, with a 1st year head coach. OOOOOUUUCCH Go Billy Ball!!!!!

Some interesting 1st round games in the 8th this year. Shelby vs Collins throw the records out the window rivalry game. North and South at Oldham Co interesting. Walton Verona and Simon Kenton.

Not so fast, I remember last years district at Anderson Co, when Spencer was suppose to be a walk over and a couple of interesting calls moved Anderson on, Spencer could have easily been the victor last season, if those same calls had went their way.

Careful on Conley, heard he may drink the Trinity Kool-aid next season. A big difference in winning a district and a state championship.

Shelby has beaten Collins in Football the past two seasons. Athletes are there, simply need to be developed and the basketball program could be comparable. It is all in the priority of the school focus, Couch left for Bullitt East and they did not even interview applicants for the head coaching position.

I agree about the work ethic, not sure if Spencer County and Collins will be fortunate enough to get transfers each season to help the cause like Fern Creek. Wizclift transferred from Ballard 2015-16 season, and this season Moore and another bench player from Eastern 2016-17. Both are major contributors to Fern Creeks success. Would not be LIT champions without Moore. Series of fortunate events ??

I think you answered our question, Timmy Dalton is one of the top scorers, who does he play against every night. When is the last time a mountain team has been competitive in Sweet 16. Even the all A, Cordia won it last year from the 14th but all of their players were from out of state except one (not sure i can call that a mountain team).
