A weak region compared to ?? May not be as competitive as 6th and 7th on a nightly basis, but Oldham, South Oldham, Collins, Anderson, Shelby, Owen has competed state wide over the last 5 years. I would rethink my position if I was considering the job because someone is suggesting that the 8th region is weak.

I have heard he has a son that will be a freshman next season, wander if he has any friends that will be coming with him??

I think maybe Mark Starns and Roy Turley are relatives, never seem stay anywhere long, they don't want wear out their welcome.

Owen has not faced a team defense like Trinity this season, not sure if they can handle it, and don't think Owen can guard Trinities perimeter game. Trinity by 8, Williams goes for 20 plus 20.

Not taking away from Wayne County, but I thought Pulaski County was suppose to greatly improved with the addition of some transfers ??

Sounds as if there might be a difference in Private and Public schools in Jefferson County.

Trinity was one of the best teams I saw play all summer and Ballard has a pile of young talent. Waggner may be the favorite on paper, but I see it coming down to Trinity or Ballard again.

Sounds as if LCA is following lessons on transfers learned thru the Rhodes punishment.

Anderson will be a solid young team and will get better all year long. Anderson will play team ball without Cummings. Anderson County will definitely be he dark horse in the region, but the 30th district is on their home floor. SK and Bearcats in the finals of the 8th.

If these guys feel that Rhodes can't coach, then why do they fight so hard to keep Cordia ineligible?? lol!! :banana:

Jones was the big freshman, the twins have a long way to go to play effective basketball on the varsity level.

So what schools are open and what schools have filled their jobs.

It takes good jobs (administration, athletes, facilities, and parents) to attract good coaches, not so sure if Bracken County fits that mold.
