...damn. I hate to hear that about any player, but especially about someone in their senior year.

 

I'm assuming location and severity of the break would play a big role in recovery time, but I really hope that's not the season for Cam.

Love it. Gets their bodies ready for school too.

They've laid about 70 yards worth of the field thus far. No endzones or sidelines yet, and the design at center field will be cut in once the field is done. I'm assuming the entirety of the field will be completed in time for the Ryle game on August 21st.

Glad to hear Pitzer is not going to miss much. I am rooting for that kid to have a great senior year.

Will they be adding soccer lines?

100 yards of the field is complete. Endzones are the next to be put in. Soccer lines will not be added except for the out of bounds lines. This is an NFL funded project therefore will be a true Football field. No extra junk in the middle. The new logo will be added once sidelines are put down. I'm told 1 week left.

I hadn't been told any of the details about the soccer lines. As much as the NFL was using the amount of use a field gets as a determining factor for the grant money, I'm surprised to hear that they are only allowing for the soccer out of bound lines. The soccer lines were noticeable on the old field, but I certainly didn't think they were any kind of distraction.
