I have heard that the school ultimately plans to construct a soccer stadium. Not sure where, how, or if it has any merit...but I've heard that's the intention.

No plans for that.

While we are being very particular about word usage and the correct meaning....I'm pretty sure you are referring to "river loam."

Soccer lines cut in after field is laid? At least that's how I've seen it at other installs.

 

That would make sense. More lines that are put on at the factory, better chance for lines not to match up. Just a guess on my part.

You mean the practice fields? To the best of my knowledge those are intended only as practice fields.

Stress fracture. Happened a at a camp.

Word at the CYF practice last Friday night was 'Colonels' in one end zone and 'Cov Cath' in the other.

I've heard the same.

Just saw some pictures on Facebook. The south endzone (the left side, looking from the pressbox) says "COVINGTON" and the north endzone says "CATHOLIC". They also have the new logo installed at center field.

 

 

 

They've not installed the turf for the sidelines yet, but there's no sign of any soccer field markings as of yet either.
