Estill 5 George Rogers Clark 3

Clark County's starting pitcher walked the first three batters which loaded the bases and Estill scored three runs in the first inning.

 

Estill Pitcher Cody Berryman threw 100+ pitches in 6 innings of work. Sewell came in relief and did a good job on the mound as well.

 

Estill scored their other two runs in the 5th and 7th innings. Clark scored 1 run in the first, and tried to start a come back with two runs late in the game but Sewell pitched well to close things out

Isn't that quite a few pitches for this early in the season? The Engineneers need his arm more in May than they do now.

The 14th will be surprised by Estill's baseball program. I think they will compete for the regional title and be one of the favorites by tourney time.
