January 6, 201511 yr I hate Duke, but I saw Elton Brand as a high school player and always liked his game. You may have seen him play against me and my team. Elton scored 50 on us my Freshman or Sophmore year in high school (he was a senior).

January 6, 201511 yr This one's pretty easy: Anthony Davis. Always seemed fairly likable and was just so unbelievably good that there was no point in trying to hate him. Me too. I wanted to hate that guy so much, heck he made this board unreadable after the UK National Championship but he was so good I had to respect his game.
January 6, 201511 yr UofL - David Pagett and Larry O'Bannon. Both seems like really good guys. Duke - Grant Hill. Same as above, seemed like a good guy. UNC - Didn't really know much about Jordan at that age so don't know. Respected Antan (sp?) Jameson's game, that is for sure. IU - (actually like IU, but they were a huge rival) Calbert Chaney, Damon Bailey, Steve Alford.
January 7, 201511 yr Nah, he and Timberlake are actually pretty cool since Laettner forgave him. Here is Laettner's actually quote on the incident from Wikipedia: Laettner's shot was clouded somewhat by an incident earlier in the game, in which Laettner tapped with his foot on the chest of Kentucky Wildcat forward Aminu Timberlake, who was lying on the floor. Laettner later said, "It was just from the emotion of the game. There was maybe too much adrenaline flowing, but it was a big mistake. It's worthy of a technical. I don't think it's worthy of getting kicked out of the game even though all the Kentucky fans will disagree with me on that. But it looks horrible. It's one of the things that I'm embarrassed about in my Duke career. There aren't many things, but that's one of them. Coach K was not happy with me about doing that. And he made a point to let me know about it a few times the following week going into the Final Four
