November 18, 201411 yr If recruiting rankings are all you've got, quit while you're behind. They are worthless in football, and tell none of the story to how a roster looks 4 and 5 years after kids were signed. UT is playing true freshmen all over the field, not the juniors and seniors you think are making an impact based on data that is irrelevant... Says a guy that runs a recruiting website.... It means they consistenly get better players to their school. Stoops had the best UK recruiting class ever and UT still had a better class last year. So even if playing time is your issue as a freshman and you can go to UK or UT, where are you going? This is a silly argument, both guys are good coaches and both will do a good job and I'm not sure UK will ever beat UT as long as they have a comprable coach because the programs aren't comprable.

November 18, 201411 yr It seems to me that UK has lost its desire since Stoops received his 1$ million bonus... At that point after the Missouri game he really ripped some players publicly if my memory serves me right. You add into that the comments made by Hurd (I think) about the coaches not coaching well, and do we have a problem here UK fans? Now for one I am a UK fan that had you told me UK gets 5 wins this season, I would have taken it before the season. I also saw lots of improvement at the beginning of the season and kids playing with confidence. I don't think this team has quit as much as it has lost confidence...

I am sure you know more than me about who is still there and who isn't, but how can you say they had a terrible roster? I'm interested in your explanation on this.

They had a decent senior class in Jones first year but the next two classes were a disaster. They are getting almost nothing from the seniors this year and very little from the junior class. Recruiting rankings in football are useless, and that is from someone that has worked in the industry for a decade. Dooley and Joker were failures at an epic level and left each program in shambles...
