November 18, 201411 yr Worn down is not an excuse coming off a bye week. If they can't regroup for their biggest rival with a bowl bid on the line, then this season is a fail. A fail why? They won 5 games this season so far, they won four the previous two seasons combined. They won two sec games this year, 0 the previous two. What exactly is a failure? The season is a failure becuse they may not beat a team they were projected to lose to before the season started? Absurd.
November 18, 201411 yr No depth, they are worn down at this point. If the Louisville game was still an early game in the season I would expect a win. At this point, UL is playing decent, UK is not, Petrino will do his best to embarrass UK, which is why I think it will be a 20 point game. That said, it doessnt mean UL is a good team, look at UK's last two losses. U of L is better than decent. Borderline Top 25. They have issues on their line and QB is still a ? IMO. They have a good defense and competed in most every game. They need to adjust to a Major Conference where games on the road are a lot more difficult than they were used to in the past.

November 18, 201411 yr U of L is better than decent. Borderline Top 25. They have issues on their line and QB is still a ? IMO. They have a good defense and competed in most every game. They need to adjust to a Major Conference where games on the road are a lot more difficult than they were used to in the past. I can agree with that. I called them decent since.Wireman called them "not that good." I do agree that they are better than decent, top 25 I dunno..

I don't base my thoughts on the season from that one game though. I realise Kentucky needs to improve a lot and that games like the msu game are not what you gauge them on. You also can't gauge the entire season (or stoops career) from a couple of late season losses. I hate to tell you, again and again and again and again, but obviously some of you can't realise that this season was not a failure at all. It's hard to call a season a failure when a team won more games than expected and is hauling in another top recruiting class in school history.. That is, unless you have an agenda against said school.

I dropped 100s and 100s of bucks going to games this season and prob could have got UL tickets -- no thanks . My point is I'm not Investing in a team that quit the past month . Jd you seem want to take all the good of the first 5 games and just ignore the same old ky we have got the past month . You need to acknowledge both halfs of the year . And admit it's very troublesome to go from competitive to apparently not caring as the season marches on . I like stoops but he has lost this team . They won't fight for him .

November 18, 201411 yr Stoops has done a good job and has a good staff, as long as they continue to bring in recruits UK will continue to get better. If you can't tell the difference between the talent and execution on this team than in the Joker era teams you need to go back and watch some of those games. I don't see how anyone can be disappointed, they are way ahead of where I thought they'd be this year. Win or lose to UL they've made a lot of progress.

They are worthless in football, and tell none of the story to how a roster looks 4 and 5 years after kids were signed. UT is playing true freshmen all over the field, not the juniors and seniors you think are making an impact based on data that is irrelevant...
