Open Jobs/Filled Jobs 2014-2015

Not downing Allen Harris but who is he and did the program just put a sign up on 25 and the first person in the door got the job. Good luck coach.

It kinda does sound like you are downing Coach Harris. If you don't know who he is, how can you label him as "the first person in the door?" Since you don't know who he is, maybe you should give him a shot. Lynn Camp has been 3-8, 3-8, 2-9 in the last three years...

What can you tell us about him? What type of offense an defense does he run? Where is he from?

Bath has some talent coming up.

That's a question better off asked in the thread about Bath County's hire :thumb:

Johnny Poynter to Bath County

We want to keep this thread pretty specifically to open jobs and the immediate who/when info about the position being filled.

That was a great hire by Bath County...probably the best one they could have gotten IMO.

Jackson Co has been filled. Idk the name but he coached there before. Was middle school coach I guess.

The way I understand it...Fort Knox has been filled...but no announcement yet.

Looking to update our list. Any word on the names of the hires at Jackson County and Fort Knox? @justme2012 @MSU-70

Heard Jackson hired middle school coach named Clay Dalton several months back.

I don't get it. Why would a high school program hire a middle school coach to take over? Of course this is assuming the coach has spent most of his time in middle school.

Woodford County did it. And then he hired a Jr. High coach to run his offense.

If I had to guess, the line of those wanting to move to Jackson County is usually pretty short.

Waiting on the school to make the announcement.

These days if you're running a successful jr. High program you are doing the same things that your varsity is doing at a smaller scale. Successful jr high coaches may sometimes be better candidates than varsity asst because they have ran an entire program from coaching to budgets to scheduling.
