Not sure why...but South Floyd wasn't even listed as a school that was open.

Just a miss on our part. No one had mentioned it, and it wasn't listed on the KHSAA's site.

South Floyd has hired Chad Hall. Was an Allen central assistant

What happened with Coach Galloway? And didn't I see that they had decided against participating in district play?

He got fired Monday I think. Ive heard 3 different stories, but to sum them all up, parties didnt agree on things.

Don't you love administrators!!!!!!

North Bullitt and McCreary Central are both open and not on the list...which makes the total 47...that has to be the most head football coaching jobs open in one year.

Damn...I missed the North Bullitt job again. Let me add that and McCreary Central in.

According to another thread on BGP, Boone County hired Marty Steele for their position

North Bullitt will conduct interviews on Monday.

North Bullitt will conduct interviews on Monday.

I have heard a lot of big Louisville area names are on the list to interview, any inside scoop of who is interviewing?

No big names that I've heard of. One interesting rumor going around in the county is that Tye Lawson would apply even though he just got the head coaching job at Bullitt Central?? Now that would be big!

Seems like that would be a publicity and career quagmire if Lawson does that. Didn't Gossett just leave Bullitt Central? What's up at that school, everyone is bailing?
