I would love to see the kind of numbers those two could put up together. I was kind of bummed he just said two, but given what Trinity's team looks like right now I think they would be the biggest impact since the defense is pretty good already and the running game with Brooks is set.

Sweet! Must have been the year before when they had 23. Had to go half line to practice sometimes. I think you are correct that Gary kicked off some but I believe it was the post season as I don't remember any of the young guys coming up during regular season. I thought you were talking about playing O or D and Brad Hood did the punting. All of the Nussbaums could kick the heck out of the ball.

It was a long time ago, but I think the regular kickoff guy might have had a minor knee injury. He could play, but kicking off wasn't a good idea. Possibly Quinlan??

I would definitely add Damon Hood. As far as the second player . . . I'm not so sure. The easy answer would be to say Lonnell Dewalt, but I think the current WC team needs some help on the O-line. I would go with Wes Jeffries!

 

I thought about a lineman too, but a single lineman? Give me Damon and Worm. Damon would just run people over whether you blocked for him or not. And with Worm you just drop back a couple of steps and fling it up.

It was a long time ago, longer than I care to think about. The knee tweak sounds right and it does seem like Gary handled kickoffs in at least one of the playoff games. I just don't remember who kicked off. Mike Murray handled field goals but know he didn't kick off.

Ben Revere DB/WR/PR/KR (Phillies) Ben might be a professional baseball player but he was one of the best high school football players you'd ever see and was going to play football at Georgia as well as baseball before being drafted in the 1st round out of high school. He would shut down the opponents best receiver on defense, is one of the best returners in state history, and then his speed on offense would just be ridiculous in this offense we run.

 

My second is Brandon Logan LB (Michigan) I really struggled on this one between Logan and Winston Guy Jr (UK, Current NFL'er) I just think Catholic needs a lot more help at Linebacker than Guy's hybrid positions since we play 1 senior and the rest of our backers are Sophs.

How about Jason Dunn - EKU - 11 or 12 years in the League, most with the Chiefs. Craig Yeast - UK and at one time was the all time leading receiver in SEC History. I like those 2 but there is certainly an argument for other players out of HHS.
