Brandon Berger played some as a Freshman (but yes Gary is older).

I would definitely add Damon Hood. As far as the second player . . . I'm not so sure. The easy answer would be to say Lonnell Dewalt, but I think the current WC team needs some help on the O-line. I would go with Wes Jeffries!

To specifically address players that would help this years Purples I would go with Will Jenkins OG and Michael Bailey DB.

Just curious why you picked these 2. Good players don't get me wrong, but do you think the Oline and DB is BG's weakest position? I picked Hayes (QB) and Fant (WR) because I think BG Defense needs no help this year and think the Oline has played pretty well. Just curious.

For Ryle Hemple and Elliot.

I guess Conner would be Barker and Fogle.

I found a Beechwood yearbook on Classmates.com. There were 35 guys on varsity in 1974. I think the brought gary up for kick offs. He was actually only an 8th grader in 1974.

I'd go with Jordan Morgan (gave you an offensive threat and was probably one of the best defensive players in a while)...gives you full 4 quarters of offense and defense.

 

Then I would take Antoine Robinson.

Sweet! Must have been the year before when they had 23. Had to go half line to practice sometimes. I think you are correct that Gary kicked off some but I believe it was the post season as I don't remember any of the young guys coming up during regular season. I thought you were talking about playing O or D and Brad Hood did the punting. All of the Nussbaums could kick the heck out of the ball.

 

Gonna need a bigger scoreboard!

 

I would love to see the kind of numbers those two could put up together. I was kind of bummed he just said two, but given what Trinity's team looks like right now I think they would be the biggest impact since the defense is pretty good already and the running game with Brooks is set.
