They actually looked explosive. Teams will not be able to stack the line this year. Good start. Tough to guage due to the competition level but certainly better than a struggle.

Did everything you would have hoped today.

Ohio should be much better challenge than UTM, next week.

Great way to open up. Stoops is definitely the man for this job. I was very, very pleased in how the Cats played. Yes, UT-M was really bad, this U.K. team needs as many out/conference games like this as they can. Cats are not going to get many, if any SEC wins right now and need to win some games to build confidence.

Great showing by the Cats......GO BIG BLUE !

Congratulations to the Wildcats.

Good win for the Wildcats.

Whatever "confidence" they gain from this game is false confidence. Nothing they did today is gonna work in two weeks, the same way it is every year.

Good point, they should probably just cancel the rest of the games after next week.

This.

Might not be a bad idea...so kids don't get hurt! Lol

No, they should stop playing gimme games just to get bowl eligible and instead schedule some early-season games that actually will help them prepare for the SEC.

Couldn't have said it better.

It's great when the players you expect to do well ACTUALLY DO.

That will come, hopefully, in time.

Soft scheduling is the perfect prescription for this team at this time.

If they don't win some conference games then it won't matter. Plenty of other bigger schools are doing the same. Is Rice really going to challenge ND, or South Dakota challenge Oregon, so on and so forth. UK has one of the tougher schedules in the nation this year. I don't think coming out of the gates playing another top 25 team would really make that much of a difference especially if they're not that good.
