Time for Weinrich to go!

 

Seriously BW has the same game plan that Dale had the past four years, get handled by T, then win state. Has worked 75% of the time! let's make it 80%.

 

T looks good, I had figured Male for SC but I'm not so sure now. HHS needs work but they'll get there.

 

I need another scrimmage before the season starts, pulled a muscle on my second post game adult beverage but switched arms and worked thru the pain. Wings stomach also needs work. I'll be ready by early December!

Trinity was missing their starting safety. No 'serious" injuries. No cructhes used or broken bones.

 

Trinity does not want to punt, ever! The defense has improved over the past 8 months. The offense will take the Rocks as far as their QB leads them. Ensworth will be a great test.

Very very nice T team...They will surprise their opponents this yr vs last. Got to play one of the toughest if not the toughest schedules in the Nation. Thanks to T for coming to Ft Thomas last nite as they are the classiest program I have ever seen and that goes back a bunch of yrs...Good luck this yr and i will not be shocked if you are not right back on top again this yr.:thumb:

 

For Highlands, there is a whole bunch of work to be done and I will keep my comments to myself for now as I know this coaching staff will figure out some things in the next few weeks.

 

This scrimmage every yr exposes some weaknesses and confirms some concerns and the Birds will take full advantages of what they learned last nite and work on some things.

 

Got to work on some of the little things but hey its the first time out for alot of these kids and they couldnt have been tested by anyone better than a program like T.

Anyone have any stats?

I thought there were a few bright spots for the Birds last night. The biggest was the play of DJ (Debo) Mills. He was a monster last night and lived in Trinity's backfield. The other was the play of Venneman and Telek from the wideout and tight end position. Those two guys will be very hard to cover. Venneman could be one of the fastest kids I have seen put on a Birds uniform. The kid can flat out fly!! Telek is 6'5 or 6'6 and has good hands and speed for his size.:thumb:
