I think it's interesting that UK stayed so long and played 6 games. No other college team played more than 4 games to my knowledge. Most played 2 or 3. This has been a loooong road trip for college kids.

I agree.

I think Cal wanted them to have something to respond to in the coming weeks. He got it.

Nah, they didn't look like they cared much after the game. They looked like they were ready to come home.

You don't think the loss and a little bit of doubt in their minds is good for them or you don't think they doubt themselves just a little after this game?

Loss was the best thing that could have happened. Get it out of the way and they aren't invincible.

I didn't get to see this one, but I'm not worried. I agree with those who think this loss was not a bad thing.

I enjoyed watching each game even though I grew tired of the same old commentary every game. This is a huge advantage for the Cats and I came away very impressed by their cohesiveness at such a young stage. Tyler Eulis is going to become an all-time favorite in this state, his lack of size means we should get to enjoy his play for more than a year. I'm also glad Cal took time off from the sidelines, no need to speed up those dog years. Tyler Eulis

I know they were all tired, but when it got tough, the twins went right back to taking bad shots and pouting up and down the floor. The second unit was much more selfless the entire trip. They legitimately wanted to just beat their opponent in every game. It'll be sad if Willis and Hawkins don't play when Lyle and WCS are back. Hawkins showed a lot of toughness and smarts the entire week. Willis is just way too skilled to not play.

I still need to watch Saturday and Sunday's game, but I really haven't been impressed with Willis at all. Maybe its because he's not sure of himself but he travels almost every time he puts the ball on the floor. Several times he got away with it, but I haven't seen much from him that makes me think he'll get playing time this year. Too many players are much more talented than him on this team.

I do think Hawkins will see a little time hear and there. His defensive intensity will get him some minutes.

I would venture a guess that Bilas feels just like you. He had to be getting bored toward the end of the week.

Willis will not get much PT this year, but I believe he would be a starter on most of the other SEC teams.

I won't argue that point at all. I just don't think he sees much time at all this year besides mop up work.

I don't think he would be a starter yet on most other teams. I think he looks even better when surrounded by so much talent on the court. However I do think he would actually get playing time with other SEC teams.

Nope. They won't face that kind of talent more than 4-8 times during the season. If that at all. And if they do it won't be their 6th game in 8 days.
