August 6, 201412 yr Fox and the Hound. I think the hound dog died saving the fox. I was a kid and I'm old now but I only watched it once because of that scene. Seems like there is another movie or two that got me emotional as an adult but I am drawing a blank right now. Neither the Tod, the fox, nor Copper, the hound died in that one. It was my favorite movie when I was a kid. Tod intervenes during the fight with the bear when the bear is getting the best of Copper and his owner--even though they had been hunting him and Vixey. Tod ends up falling off of a cliff with the bear and saving Copper and his owner. They land in the water and Tod is lying on the riverbank exhausted. Copper's owner then goes to shoot Tod but Copper gets between them. At the end Copper is guarding the farm while Tod and Vixey look down from a hillside. It was sad when he fell but it worked out okay.

We We're Soldiers in various places, but I go to pieces anytime I hear "Mansions of the Lord". For the Love of the Game when he completes the perfect game. I don't know why. Steel Magnolias was one of our favorite movies, but in 1994 Mrs. S's sister died under practically the identically same circumstances as the character Shelby did in the movie, leaving an 18 month old son as well. We've been unable to view the movie since. There are others, but anymore there is no telling what will set me off. I've been a train wreck the last couple of years, especially since my father died. I cry at the drop of a hat over almost anything. Heck, I haven't been able to make it though that "Empty Chair" Guinness commercial one time, yet. It's a flippin commercial!!!
