Brian's Song, Love Story, The Way We Were, Finding Nemo, Shawshank Redemption, Forest Gump, Frozen, Home Alone movies, Nanny McPhee, Of Mice and Men, etcetera

ET goes home.

 

I was sobbing uncontrollable. I waited until the theater cleared out before I left, I was so embarrassed.

I, too, cry A LOT - happy scenes or sad scenes. My wife is the exact same.

 

Two movies that knocked me out were Brian's Song and Something For Joey.

We Were Soldiers is a really good one. Probably my favorite war movie but it's a tough watch.

I remember going to the movies with my kids to see Up, which is an animated movie. I was crying 10 minutes into the film when it's obvious they can't have children. ???It's animated! What is wrong with me?

 

Matt Damon and Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting when he confronts the feelings he's suppressed for so long.

Any time someone wins in a movie, whether it is fiction or not. Moves me to tears every time. I love winning.

Ahh, yes. I was making fun of everyone on this forum until I read your post.

 

I did however cry a tiny bit at Thomas Jay's funeral when Vada goes nuts.

And of course when Ric Flair won the 192 Royal Rumble, but those were tears of joy.

All these are good, but I'm going to get a little obscure and go back in the vault to see who remembers watching the made for TV movie "The Champ" with Jon Voight as a boxer well past his prime and a very young Ricky Schroeder as the son who idolizes his Dad.

 

When Voight takes on a match he shouldn't have and ends up dying in the locker room afterward- and there's little Ricky crying and holding his Dads hand while saying, "C'mon Champ, get up!" Ah crud, it was the first movie I remember crying while watching as a young man.

Holy crap, hoopty. I will never go to the BGP movie outing if you're going. It's like you start crying when the opeining credits are done. I think a better question is what movies haven't made you cry. :lol2:
