Reality they aren't close. So with you going all the way back to 2006, does that mean Cooper should be ranked higher than CCH because they have 2 district titles, 1 regional title and a state runner up all within the last 3 years? No, of course not, yet at least they won something this decade. CCH hasn't yet is always put on a pedestal for doing nothing. Like I said, win your district this decade and then we can talk.

No, not at all. The difference being I'm a CCH fan. I just don't exaggerate and make them out to be something they are not just yet. When they beat Highlands we can lift them up. Just because their is only 1 elite team IMO in NKY isn't a knock on CCH or anyone else, it's just what it is. CCH can actually be a good team without having to be labeled and put on the same level as HHS. I just don't understand the bruised egos from those who continue ue to put CCH up on th same level as Highlands. They simp,y aren't, why does it have to mean I'm a hater when I speak the truth.

Now if you paid attention, I was replying to someone else when you got all bent out of shape. Go read what I was replying to. I was responding to the idea that teams wouldn't benefit from p,aging Highlands and CCH. I understand a beat down by HHS doesn't do much for some teams, but I just don't see CCH right now in that same class. When CCH starts having running clocks in the 2nd qtr of all their games then I say they are in the same class as HHS, but the fact they dont seems to have you really bothered and I don't get it. HellBird, there have been some recent years that Highlands was heads and shoulders better than CovCath and there have been some recent years that, while Highlands won the games, the two teams were pretty close. Some years that the Birds won state, I felt that CovCath was the best team Highlands played all year; other years I've felt that Johnson Central was the best Highlands played all year. So perhaps you are partially right and Bluedad is partially right.

Boyle County is the best in 3A. Especially now that they have their old coach back. Belfry and Central have had good runs when 3A has been absent a powerhouse program, but that ends in 2015. Go Rebels!

 

The best huh? Have you forgot that that several teams in that class have won multiple state championships? Lou Central, Bell Co, Belfry and Lex Cath. Just because you have Coach Smith back does not guarantee your program anything. Remember, you went from 4A back to 3A due to lack of enrollment, and for a powerhouse like Boyle Co, losing student body also means losing some quality athletes. Don't count your eggs yet. You still have to deal with Lex Cath in your upcoming 3A district. Past that then all the other poewrshouse of 3A.

I will go by what another poster said in another thread.

He stated how Ryle beat both CCH and HHS in 2010, he also stated CCH is #2 because no one but Highlands in NKY canbeat them. I pointed out that isn't true. 2010 and 2012 they lost to NKY teams besides Hhighlands and the fact that CCH has lost by an average of 31 points every single year over the past 5 years to any ohio team they have played does not support the idea that CCH is always #2 in NKY.

CCH wasn't #2 in several of the past 4 years in NKY. 2010 and 2012 alone.

 

Highlands hasn't lost to a NKY team since 2010 so I can see them being #1 in the area for the past 3 years but CCH hasn't won anything and just because they play cincy teams means nothing when they can't win, or much less have a competitive game against any of them.

I have heard that some schools are petitioning to move up now. Not sure it will be allowed after the original cut off date.

I believe they explicitly said it would not be allowed, but I could be wrong. I doubt they'd allow anyone to play up now that they've seen the cards on the table.
