A little too much PB, then a little too much jelly, then a little more PB, then more jelly ...well, you get the picture, just load that bread up with all it can handle.

I packed my lunch last night. Decided on good old PB and J. My wife was in the kitchen while I was putting my lunch together, and she told me that I was putting too much jelly on the sandwich. She then informed me that the proper way to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is to go heavy on the peanut butter.

....guess I can't ever ask my wife to pack my lunch now :wtf:

Your wife is extremely wise. The correct PB to Jelly ratio is officially 82.6% to 17.4%.

Heavy on both, equal amounts. Maybe a hair more PB than J.

My kids love that stuff! There is a chocolate pb and regular pb kind. They dip fruit or pretzels in them.

I'll have to tell my daughter about it. She keeps jars of pb in her dorm room and dips pretzels and celery in it. But this would be easier dipping.

Anybody had peanut butter and honey? I like that combo.

It's great. Eat one before working out sometimes.

Time to bring out the classic tune:

I have to have Jif peanut butter! (or Kroger brand since it's the same thing)

Have you had the whipped Jif??

Saw that they are making a whipped peanut butter, kind of like the whipped cream cheese. Has anybody tried that?

Yes. It's incredible.

Still nobody with me that goes heavy on the jelly..... :idunno:

I'm with you, but it needs to be preserves. Too technical, I know.

Peanut butter and marshmallow fluff!!

Love me some fluffer nutter.

Anybody had peanut butter and honey? I like that combo.

Peanut butter = great

PB & Honey = good

PB & Jelly = OK

Crunchy PB = Yuck

Kroger is good but it is made by a third party not Jif

Actually made in Louisville by Allgood foods. They may have other manufactures as well. I did a safety survey and some training there a few years ago. Learned a little about peanut butter.

I once had to give a 20 minute speach on how to make a PB&J sandwich for a public speaking class.

Creamy PB 1TB mixed with Welch's Grape jelly 1TB prior to slapping it on two slices of wheat bread then slapping the bread together yum yum! Wash down with a cold glass of milk.

Crunchy or smooth peanut butter? But what about the jelly? What flavor? I'm sure grape will reign supreme. Myself. Crunchy with strawberry or blackberry jam. Heavy on the peanut butter.
