I hear what you are saying. It almost was too easy for Seattle. But when a team turns it over and gives you points, games get out of hand. I haven't seen the final stats, but I am curious. Did Denver outgain Seattle in yards? I think they may have. Seattle had fewer possessions and short fields due to the turnovers and kickoff return. As lopsided as the score was, Denver may have outgained Seattle.

Seattle outgained them 341-306.

There's your legacy, Peyton!

So he falls to the Jim Kelly, Dan Marino side of the ledger?

You anti Peyton guys are funny.

I'm sorry. I can't ignore 5 MVP's, 3 Super Bowl appearances and a ring. His legacy doesn't boil down to tonight or any single game performance, IMO.

Worst Super Bowl I've watched in a long time.

Off the top of my head it's the worst since Tampa/Oakland.

It was real bad but you are lucky you arent' a bit older. The SB's during my teen years were bad every year, the AFC couldn't buy a win.

He has a title so he's above both of those guys.

My gut Hangman is saying that this is not going to be the last one for Seattle. Better start saving your money for next year.

This is the NFL where parity reigns. They may not even make the playoffs next year.

Where was Tebow when the Broncos needed him?

On half of the commercials.

I was thinking the same; lots of horrible super bowls in the 80s and 90s. Hard to forget the beat downs Dallas gave Buffalo, actually one of the worst IMO was the 49ers and Chargers; it was like San Diego was not even on the field. The NFC dominated until the end of Elway's career.

It's an asterisk title since it came against Rex Grossman.

It does, however, boil down to a career-long series of failures as the favored team in critical situations. That counts too.
