February 3, 201412 yr That's just silly. Facts are facts. Peyton needs a layup for a title. Again I ask: how many times has he failed as the favorite? That's his legacy. Great stat-compiler who can't win when it matters most.

February 3, 201412 yr So your thinking the Broncos lost this game based on his play, really? Unbiased opinion you really think this loss was because of his play? Pretty sure those turnovers are on him.

February 3, 201412 yr Pretty sure those turnovers are on him. Safety wasn't. Fumbles weren't. Kickoff return for a TD wasn't.
February 3, 201412 yr Dalton sucks!! I can't belive he threw two picks and overthrew the deep passes in a big game. Oh, wait, that was one of the best QB's to ever play the game. It's amazing how even the best can look bad when the offensive line gives you no time. Seattle's defensive line was in his face fast and the corners attacked the wide receivers at the line to disrupt the timing. Just like the Giants did to Brady in their Superbowls. If you get pressure with the front 4-5 guys any QB looks bad.
February 3, 201412 yr I'm sorry. I can't ignore 5 MVP's, 3 Super Bowl appearances and a ring. His legacy doesn't boil down to tonight or any single game performance, IMO. It does to sad cases who simply dislike Manning because he is a good person.
February 3, 201412 yr There's your legacy, Peyton! No, in addition to being one of the best ever and a class human being, this is his legacy and there is no amount of bashing by you haters that's gonna change it. Y! SPORTS
February 3, 201412 yr As to the game, total domination by that defense. Played as well as I've seen one play in many years. Seattle could be at the start of something special with they youth they have and will Paul Allen at the help holding onto them shouldn't be a problem.
February 3, 201412 yr First off, congrats to Seattle. I will eat crow and admit I never thought in a million years Seattle was going to beat the Broncos, let alone demolish them. With that said, what is the deal with people bashing Peyton Manning? I dont get it. It seems like everybody's measuring stick for great athletes is "if they win the big one" and then after they "win the big one", it changes to "if they win another big one". Its never ending. Whether you love or hate the guy, he is one of the best to ever play this game. Heck, he has practically been a QB, an OC, and Head Coach for his entire career. He is a class act on and off the field. He wins with class, loses with class. He has a work ethic that I can only hope I could give 1/100th of to my kids. Just dont understand.
February 3, 201412 yr It's really hard for a guy making $20M or more per year at QB to win big. When Seattle and SF have to pay their young QB's big time money their roster will fall off a bit too and it will be up to the QB to be far better. That's what's so discouraging about Dalton. It's actually very easy for guys in their first 4 years to win big now if their roster is loaded and the Gals roster is loaded. Once Dalton gets 12M or more per year he will be even worse.
February 3, 201412 yr Told ya all so. I've been saying since Week 1 Seattle was the best in the league, and almost everyone on here was too busy slobbering over Peyton Manning and the Broncos to realize greatness when they saw it. Congrats to Hangman and all Seattle fans.
February 3, 201412 yr It does, however, boil down to a career-long series of failures as the favored team in critical situations. That counts too. Were the Broncos favored to win last night? That would really surprise me if true.
