Bonefish!

It was bang bang shrimp night, never knew they had one?

seared Ahi, than shared mahi mahi with lobster and rice.

That stuff is to plain die for.

I actually suggested that to my mother tonight but we ended up getting Cracker Barrel. Had myself a deep fried catfish sandwich. Delicious.

You and half of Kenton county thinks so. Got there a little before 6:00. Could not find a place to park.

Hubby made his killer balsamic jalapeno pork chops last night. He and the kids ate theirs with double-baked potatoes and a salad. I enjoyed some greens instead. Asked him to start making this glaze for fish and chicken too. It is ridiculously good! We are doing some crockpot chicken thing w/potatoes and carrots tonight and then tomorrow is FISH DAY! I think I would eat fish 4-5 days a week if I could get the rest of the fam on board (almost a pun there). I've been enjoying fish and shrimp w/mango salsa on a bed of rice the past several weeks, but I'm feeling the need to shake that up a bit. Suggestions???

Fired up the grill again last night. Through on some nice sized steaks, grilled some asparagus, and grilled onions.

I started grilling my onions about four years ago. Sliced, with just a little butter, garlic salt, simple steak seasoning, and some steak sauce. Wrap it all in foil. I love cooking them with my steak.

Similar meal last night. Teriyaki pork chops with pineapple slices and green onions. Steamed broccoli and cauliflower, baked potato.

I'll be here all week.

I'm trying crock pot chicken dumplings, but have added veggies to make it more like a pot pie.

Low Country Boil tonight. Went up to Jungle Jim's and loaded up on ingredients. Looking forward to it...

Last night was Friday First Pitch again. We took part in the chicken marsala and shrimp scampi. The only other things we could eat from the buffet were the sautéd green beans and the salad.

Tonight it's Italian chopped salad at McAllister's Deli.

Low country boil is one of my favorites.

Last night was the buffet at Blue Licks State Resort Park.
