March 22, 201511 yr Hogfish sandwich and cole slaw at Dockside Dave's in St Pete Beach. Might want to try PJs, though I've never been to the one on St. Pete Beach. The one on Indian Rocks is good. I like their fish tacos. If you desire a more "up scale" dining experience, try the Central Avenue Oyster Bar, downtown St. Pete. Really good food. You can have dinner, go a couple of doors down to Crowley's for dessert, and a then next door to Crowley's is Central Cigar.
March 22, 201511 yr Finally torched up the grill last night. Had a few folks over. Steak (Kroger was out of filets so had to settle for strips) Chicken, burgers, portabella mushrooms, and some brats, metts for some hoopsters my son had over. Great day and even it up the chimnea to help the beer flow. Spring is here!

March 23, 201511 yr Gotta pick the lovely lady up at the airport Thursday night. She wants some bean soup and cornbread when she gets here. I need a good recipe for this. Every time I try it is pretty bland. I'm depending on some of you to help me out here. I bought some Great White Northern Beans tonight (dry), so that will be my base. I'm good with the cornbread, I do that pretty well.

March 24, 201511 yr Smoked beef brisket on rye with sautéed onions and Swiss cheese and a side of potatoe salad. Place called Caddy's on the beach. One of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time.
