Sort of feels like I am being kicked in the knees when I walk and when I have to flex my legs.

I am taking today and maybe the next two off to see if this helps.

I have what seems to be a Baker cyst on the back of my left leg right behind the knee

I am sure that is why

Not sure why the front of both knees hurt.

Old age I would guess.

Arthritis?

Arthritis?
I have that in my back and my knees, but this was different kind of pain.

I took three days off from all working out and felt good enough to do the P90X PLUS KENPO CARDIO PLUS workout.

No pain before and none after.

74 minutes in the gym and then home for Insanity workout(Pure Cardio) 38 minutes and some change of high paced fun.

Still pain free.

Weighed 235 two years ago. Way more than I ever should have gotten. Weighed around 200-205 in January just hopped on the scale before bed and weighed 186.4. I never thought I'd see 170's again but I may try it just to see if I can. I'm thinking 180's is a healthy weight for me but man I never thought I'd come this far.

My body is ready for some rest but that's not likely to happen before July.

Congratulations!! :dancingpa

Just finished my second 4 mile run in less than 12 hours. Working hard to get ready for Disney's Dopey run in January. Wife calls it the STUPID as I've signed up to do the 5K on Thurs., 10K on Fri., 13.1 on Sat., and 26.2 on Sun.

^ Wow, that's crazy. Is that healthy to do that much in that short period of time?

Maybe if you're a navy seal.

Crazy.....Starting to think so. Is that healthy...... Maybe if you run hard for all 48.6 miles. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday my plans are to use as little energy as possible and stay just under the requirement pace of 15:00. Than on Sunday try to break 5 hours. 4 years ago this would have been dreaming as I was a 310 pound fat man with asthma. Now under 200lb. and running regular I've done 9 Half Marathons and 1 Marathon.

So great to hear all this progress and good news from you you all. :thumb:

I'm not on my regular workout routine at all. I started a job where I am on my feet and moving all day, rarely sitting. Still trying it get used to being exhausted by days end.

The good news is that I'm too busy to eat or snack and I'm drinking a ton of water. So I will take that small win for now until I can figure out how to get the workouts back on track.

I havent been to the gym since last Thursday but let me tell you, I have been working out.

My brother owns a landscaping company and one of his guys is out this week. He had a big job and asked me to help him the past 3 days. We picked up 65 thirty lb stones and moved them to a scale, then lifted them into his truck. Oh yea, we also put them in wheel barrows and placed them. I have helped him with 40 yards of mulch as well. Pitchforks, wheelbarrows and sore backs !!!! I have dropped 3lbs since last Thursday and down to 215lbs today.

Back to the gym tomorrow for this guy.

Your cardio is taken care of. You want to lift weights now in your free time (3xs per week if you can), also, wear a pedometer one day. See how far you are walking. You may need to increase your calories somewhere.

Finally got back to the gym today after a week off. The gout flared back up last Thursday after walking/running 3 miles, plus had a slight issue with my blood pressure meds. I did somehow manage to play golf saturday, and still ate clean. I did do some light calisthenics yesterday, and even with reduced activity I managed to lose a pound. So I'm down 12 lbs total, and strength is still going up. Got 7 reps with 235 on the bench today. I also noticed I'm down a notch on my belt!!

8 1/2 weeks out from vacation. I will start star complexes in 2 weeks that look like they are going to be very tough. (Think circuits w/ heavy, explosive movements centered around one lift, like the squat, deadlift, shoulder press, and bench press.) Supposedly, with the high metabolic demand, I should be able to burn some significant body fat for the short duration. I don't need to burn significant, but if I can get down 6lbs of fat in 6 weeks, I'll take it.
