About to go do a swim set, included in there is a 1000 yard TT.

Good luck!

Getting after it this year. Trying to lose 20 pounds by Reds Opening Day (I'm a beer vendor). Once that starts up, the workouts basically take care of themselves but I still want to eat good.

Anyone use MyFitnessPal app? I know its not entirely accurate, but its close enough for me. Sure does help me eat/snack less as well as have better portion control and make better decisions on what I eat.

1000 yards in 17:24 for a 1:44/100 pace. Felt the layoff on that one. Did the first 400 at a ~ 1:30 clip and then DIED...:lol2: :lol2:

But...I have a benchmark and a t-pace for training purposes.

Woodsrider---just noticed your avatar! The famous Rothenburg, Germany---crooked house. Went there many times for school field trips, as I lived in nearly Nurnberg.

I use My Net Diary. Pretty much the same thing. I started tracking everything I put in to my body and workouts towards the end of April 2012; I have not missed one day. Just shows you what type of mental weird freak that I am.

I think two weeks might be the most I've tracked consecutively. I'll go good then put down a six-pack and a large pizza...that's when the "eff it" creeps in and no more tracking. :D

Is there such a thing as sympathy weight loss? Mr. lawildcat is on a diet/workout regiment and I've lost 5 lbs.!

I've used it before when I tried to lose weight and was very successful but after about a month, I quit. Then after about another 4 months I didn't diet as well. My goal is definitely to keep with it this time around.

I'm getting in my upper 20's now and the binge drinking has slowed incredibly, which will help haha!

Duning my 2 week Christmas stay with family in Florida it seems like all we did was eat. Ended up putting about 20 pounds on. Since I started my weight loss program about 6 years ago I track how far I walk with a pedometer. My brother, a runner, started using a gadget called Fitbit about 6 months ago. It's basically a high tech pedometer an I'm a gadget geek. It wirelessly uploads all the data to your computer and you can keep track of how far you walk. Guess what I got for Christmas. I've been using it daily since.
