I wish I knew how to properly eat throughout the course of a week. I'd be looking really good right now if I knew how to do the nutrition stuff correctly.

You may or may not like this. I eat 4-6 meals a day. Breakfast: 2 whole eggs, 3 egg whites, 2 strips of turkey bacon, steel cut oatmeal. Snack: greek yougurt and 1/2 cup of walnuts. Lunch: grilled chicken wrap with light ranch, baby spinach, parmesean, whole wheat tortilla. snack: 2 oz. grilled chicken, celery and carrots, 1 cup of strawberries. post workout: protein shake Dinner: chicken alfredo, steamed broccoli.

I don't get hung up on the food. I'll eat darn near anything. I just never know how to properly measure the food or what to eat. I'll try this out next week.

How much do you weigh, how tall are you, and what are you trying to do? I have something that I can send you via PM

5'10" without shoes and currently around 255ish. I was 275 when I started all of this. I'm trying to get to 225 with a low bodyfat %.

Does it work for anyone or can it be reconfigured for anyone?

I have found that a good breakfast, as well as, drinking at least a gallon of water a day will do wonders for the body.

There are a few schools of thought. There is the 6 meals-a-day thought that I like. There are about 1000 schools of thought on intermittent fasting. There are the Paleo guys. All of these work and fail. Depends on what is best for you and you really can't know until you give them a good 8 weeks. You have to be a guinea pig.

Here is what I am doing, and it is working well. I am trying to lose body fat. I'm trying to get to 205 and the last 8-10 lbs are notriously stubborn. I am cycling my calories and meal frequency. On days that I lift or sprint, I eat 6 meals a day, at 2700 calories total. On days that I don't, I walk and eat 1800 calories broken down into 3 meals, all between Noon and 8pm (intermittent fasting). I'm trying to keep my metabolism guessing.

Once I get where I'm going, I'll eat about 2800-3000 calories per day in a maintenance style diet and see what that does. I haven't been there yet, so it may not work out.

Here's the article that I took this approach from.

What I'm doing works if you are trying to lose bodyfat only. You'll hold onto lean mass, perhaps put some on.

Ok. PM me your email. It will be kind of lengthy my explanation.

When you say low, what did you have in mind?

I have no idea. I want to be ripped to shreds. I'm putting the work in but I need help with the diet aspect of things.

I am slowly easing back to four days a week in the gym, up from three.

The cardio workouts are going well, with me staying with six of them a week.

Things are going well in my world.

Wrapping up week 5, still not completely over my case of gout. But after hitting a plateau on weight and actually gaining a couple of pounds, I'm down 5 pounds this week. Still making strength gains, and the results are starting to be visible. Overall down about 18 lbs.
