May 29, 201412 yr Did a fun one yesterday. 5 rounds 11 Back Squats at 185 7 Strict Burpee Pull Ups 400 meter run I scaled the squats down to 155.
May 29, 201412 yr 53 minutes for myself without the vest. Kinda difficult doing it at a gym like LA Fitness but I got it done. What do you think so far of LA Fitness?? I'm currently a member at Snap in Independence, but have been considering switching to LA in Crescent Springs. While I like the 24 hour aspect of Snap, it's a small gym, and sometimes the lack of space and equipment can be limiting. I like a lot of variety and would like more cardio options, and miss being able to sit in a sauna every now and then.
May 29, 201412 yr 3 different 4 mile runs over the last 36 hours. Taking today off and will start all back over again.
May 30, 201412 yr Was feeling rundown during my pause front squats yesterday so I scrapped it after 3 working sets. Decided to fiddle around with some atlas stones. I had never played with them before. Weight wasn't heavy, but my lungs were smoked after 4 sets. Think I found a new way to add some variety in to my down weeks.

Decided much like yourself that I wanted more room, equipment and what not. Also it's close to my work which also has 2 smaller gyms that I can use as well. I like having the pool, sauna and basketball court and a place to shower of course.

I've been at Snap for a little over a year. Prior to that I was at Urban Active in Erlanger, but had grown tired of the heat/air not working, broken equipment (how hard is it to replace a pin on a weight stack??) and the overall sliminess of the place. Now that I've gotten back into a groove and am considering getting back into bodybuilding for one last go, Snap just isn't the place where I can get that done. Thanks for the info, I'll probably check LA out soon.

Makes a good stool to tie my shoes.
May 30, 201412 yr I start carb cycling on monday. Does anyone have any tips, thoughts, experience with it ?

Besides PF it's way cheaper than the other gyms.

June 3, 201412 yr Death by 10meters... With a running clock run the following... Min 0-1 - 10M Min 1-2 - 20M Min 2-3 - 30M and so on until you can't complete the distance in the 1 min. We did this yesterday inside the gym since it was pouring rain. We had 10 meters marked off with lines. We did it suicide style where you had to touch the line at the turn. Made it through round 16 (160meters), didn't try the 17 as I crossed the line with 1 sec left and no time to catch my breath. You can do this format with just about any movement...burpees, push ups, pull ups, squats, ect...
June 10, 201412 yr Workouts still very sporadic. :irked: But did get in a 4 mile run both yesterday and today. So I will take that as a small win.
