Watusi Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Below is the final regular season Litkenhous Ratings for October 31, 19XX Can you name the year? (without looking it up)
DragonFire Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 1976? Basing that on BG, because that was their first unbeaten regular season.
tcjkbt Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I feel as if it has to be in the 50's or 60's because of Tinity's absence.
punttheball Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 1985 Seeing Ryle on the list is making me think my first answer is wrong. Not sure when the school opened.
Lawnboy13 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Had to be sometime after 1992, cause Ryle is at #14. I say 1995, Lloyd went 12-1 that season I believe.
Watusi Posted December 20, 2013 Author Posted December 20, 2013 1995 is Correct. Trinity's absence, Fern Creek at #1, and Highland's at #20 were eye openers. 1995 State Champs Mayfield over Beechwood (ending Beechwood's 4 in a row) Breathitt Co over Franklin Simpson Bowling Green over Highlands St X over Henry Clay

PurplePride92 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 I was gonna guess 1995. Ryan Weisman was the QB at BG I believe. I think Shawn Taylor was the RB.
ColdHard Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 1995 is Correct. Trinity's absence, Fern Creek at #1, and Highland's at #20 were eye openers. 1995 State Champs Mayfield over Beechwood (ending Beechwood's 4 in a row) Breathitt Co over Franklin Simpson Bowling Green over Highlands St X over Henry Clay Highlands finished third in their district that year and finished runner up in the state. I have often felt that that late season run to the final was a huge turning point in Dale Mueller's future success.
Getslow Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 1995 is Correct. Trinity's absence, . . . were eye openers. We don't talk about 1995.
theguru Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 1995 is Correct. Trinity's absence, Fern Creek at #1, and Highland's at #20 were eye openers. 1995 State Champs Mayfield over Beechwood (ending Beechwood's 4 in a row) Breathitt Co over Franklin Simpson Bowling Green over Highlands St X over Henry Clay Beechwood was better than Mayfield in 95. There, I said it.
