I have seen this argument fail. Like I said, I don't have a side in this. I hope that the kid can play wherever he goes.

Happens all the time, public to public, private to private, public to private, private to public. KHSAA doesnt see it any other way but by the fact that he played varsity @ one school & is transferring to another school. Bonafied change of address is in the criteria.

 

No player that has transferred out of Catholic has not been able to play the next season.

I can tell you that I had a kid who's father coached and they were told that a change of address would have to be made. Now it was no problem because the coach was coming 3 hours away, but that was what was told to me by the KHSAA.

If I remember correctly Erik Trigg was ineligible his junior year after transferring out of Lexington Catholic.

I don't claim to be a scholar or smart, but I'll take a stab at it. Either Garrard County, Woodford County and I'll even throw in Boyle County in there.

I can tell you that Coach Letton's house in Paris is for sale. Expect word of his relocation sometime this week or early next week.

He's headed to a top notch program in Georgia as an OC. He's definitely upgrading.
