Well, I think that the dragon would be on life support. Whoever the new coach and powers that be will have to walk a very thin and squeaky clean line to keep things going in Westwood.

After reading 19 pages of this atrocity that is still ongoing I just find it so ironic that the school involved is ....

The AD/Principle is an assistant coach.

The Superintendent is the former coach who rents property to transfers.

The Board Chairman is an assistant coach.

I don't think that there will be either Coach. I believe that there most definitely should be but I agree with you.

I believe someone said that to your relative but there was no connection between Rose Hill and Fairview. In addition any problems Rose Hill encountered was much later.

WLGC Radio in Ashland reported this a.m. that Fairview superintendent B. Musick was to meet with khsaa officials today. WLGC also reported that with the resignation / forced resgnation of coach N. McPeek and demotion of principal/A.D./asst. football coach G. McPeek and all that's been going on, rumored to go on .....there has been no mention of Bill Musick's job being questioned or any action taken against him at all. Musick's name has been in the middle of all of this and nothing suggested on his status ? Seems to me that the board at Fairview would be upset with and wanting him out as well.

Then again, we are talking about the "Loyal order of the Eagle Club" here.

Also there are other rumors circulating that two of their players did not even attend school at Fairview. I don't know but as I said, with this bunch I wouldn't rule anything out. Could anyone imagine that "if" that were true the amount of fraud that has been going on outside of just the football program? The State allows a specified amount of money according to each and numbers of students in the school district. There would have had to have been false enrollment records, teachers would have had to have been grading/false records there and probably in a lot of other ways that I am not aware of.

WESTWOOD — While Fairview football players are admittedly shocked and confused, their mission is still to make Eagle football as relevant in 2013 as it was in 2012.

 

Logan Thovson, a junior, was one of a handful of current players who attended Monday’s school board meeting in the jam-packed high school library.

 

Thovson and fellow junior Isaiah King both talked about how this latest deal of adversity has actually allowed the team to grow closer as a group.

 

“It’s brought our team together, kinda, and now we’re playing with a chip on our shoulder,” said King, who could return from a broken collarbone during the playoffs.

It's more simple than that. It's fraud if they claimed a student lives in Kentucky and he doesn't. I can assure that has been the case. What if they have to pay back all the state money they have received in the past for those that used false addresses?

Some people have speculated that the KBOE would have more to do with the downfall of Fairview then he KHSAA. And the reason you stated is why they say that.
