The lessons my son would learn about character and doing the right thing would serve him much better than playing a few more football games, especially in a corrupt organization. Sometimes you just have to stand up for what is right regardless of the consequences.

To let the coach finish the season is the most arrogant thing to come out of this yet. The School boardd needs to grow a set of gnads and make his resignation now.

I agree, but I have said for years, if the KHSAA wants to stop activity like this they have to ban the teams from the playoffs. Let's be honest here, the playoffs is why a school would do things like this. If they are not rewarded with a playoff birth, they will stop doing things to jeopardize going to the playoffs.

Well, no new info from the meeting today, all I saw was Superintendent Bill Musick standing in the room by himself while all others seemed to be seated, lol.

Only mention of the allegations was that there would be no mention of allegations. :lol2:. Actually, if the KHSAA hasn't completed their investigation then Fairview would really be stupid to say anything. Then again, we are talking.................never mind.

Ram, one thing that gets me is that they say McPeek's resignation is at the end of the year. Doesn't that tell anyone all they need to know about Fairview ? They ask for a resignation from the head coach, place the asst. coach/A.D. out of the asst coach or anything to do with football. Yet, the fired/"resigned" coac to stay on until seasons end, including the playoffs if they are allowed. The A.D./asst coach/principal (G. McPeek) demoted to an elementary.jr. high p.e. teacher.

With the situation what it is and the coach involved still to stay the remainder of the season ??? Look at the message that sends ! We don't care, we still want to win at any cost regardless of what has happened. ..................
