WESTWOOD — While Fairview football players are admittedly shocked and confused, their mission is still to make Eagle football as relevant in 2013 as it was in 2012.

 

Logan Thovson, a junior, was one of a handful of current players who attended Monday’s school board meeting in the jam-packed high school library.

 

Thovson and fellow junior Isaiah King both talked about how this latest deal of adversity has actually allowed the team to grow closer as a group.

 

“It’s brought our team together, kinda, and now we’re playing with a chip on our shoulder,” said King, who could return from a broken collarbone during the playoffs.

That did strike me as funny. And the fact of what player they were talking to and the player said, "the team didn't do anything wrong". Wow.

The use of the word "children". Musick is attempting to paint the picture that the KHSAA would be attacking children if the sanctions are harsh. That word was carefully chosen, he isn't the second highest paid school official in the area for nothing.

I went to school website and could not locate enrollment rules. How much does the school charge for kids living outside the district? This is nothing new in Kentucky. I understand students from outside KY enroll all the time in far western Kentucky and along the KY /TN border.

There are no public schools in NEKY that charge tuition.
