I'm hearing a rally was held at the school in support of the Coach, AD, and Principal that had resigned.

 

Is it just me, or does a rally say "we condone cheating"?? Just curious.

 

Yes it does and shows the ignorance of those supporting him and the AD imo.

 

I still think it's hilarious that they went to these measures to cheat yet they still are horrible lol.

This sounds like Jim Jones to me. However to those that truly believe in the school you should treat this threat as an opportunity to take back your school to work together with your former classmates and neighbors and resurrect the school that educated you that produced winning teams from your community. If you don't you may wake up one day and say I wish I had acted. Your school is represented with the F not duct tape. You must realize that these people were leeches and thriving off your goodheartedness. This is your opportunity not your obituary. To take advantage you can't rally in support for those who have used you for so long. You need to make a stand and not keep quiet tell the truth don't hide it. It will be painful but if you do you will be stronger for it. Good luck tonight, may God guide your conscience and give you courage.

Well said. Made me think of the Fairview basketball teams with Jeff Hall, etc and the teams of the mid 70's with Rowe. Now that was something to rally around.

 

Can't help but wonder what a guy like Rex Cooksey is thinking right now. He has spent the better part of his career at Fairview and if he ever cheated he was much smarter about it that the clowns running the show now.

They aren't horrible, they have a good team, just think it's funny cheat this big and don't win a title.

The play by play radio announcer from WLGC stated that Superintendent Bill Musick said they had the best team money could buy. Take that for what it's worth. WLGC carries Fairview football' date=' btw.[/quote']

After reading my post I want to clarify 2 things. I am not saying WLGC is involved in anything. I was just trying to validate the comment as told to me by the Westwood resident, who has a son on the team. Secondly, she didn't know who the person was that was involved with the radio. She just said play by play guy. I have spoken to Bobby Allen and he assures me that it wasn't him. She just was just repeating what she heard and the comments were at the beginning of the season by people involved. I am sorry if posting this information made Bobby or WLGC look bad or in any way made it sound as if I was implicating them in anything Fairview was doing.

Agreed. Great point.

Chad must have really been upset but landed on the staff of a great team and a class coaching staff.

They know they are guilty of much, much more. The self reporting is an attempt to keep the whole thing from crashing down. The Super isn't demanding any resignations because his is next.

Because the Superintendent is involved in the whole plot with his rental properties.
