A wonderful lady who has battled hard. I truly believe she is in better place, her suffering is over. It's the family and friends who she leaves behind that have the suffering now. Her courage throughout her battle with Cancer was inspirational.

 

My thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family.

So sad to hear. Things like this puts a lot of things in perspective.

Very sorry to hear this Dave...you have my prayers.

My son and Kristina's son are tight. My son drove up yesterday from UK when he got word the end was near and spent the day and the evening with the entire family before heading back for 8:00 class this morning.. As you can imagine lots of tears were shed.

 

I can tell you what I told Cary yesterday. A parent has a lot of goals for the children but the MOST important is they are good people. So Kristina goes to heaven with pride in her heart knowing that she raised a young man who is as friendly and kind as Cary. He's about as good as they come. When I first met him his personality just jumped out. It was unusual for a kid his age. He's a credit to Kristina and I personally thank her and Dave for the way they allowed my boy to be "in the family." Both were just perfect with my boy. He thoroughly enjoyed hanging with the entire family.

 

I saw two pictures on Cary's FB page. One was from when he graduated from CCH and one was recently. Both had his mom in the picture and while she looked so different in each picture I can't decide in which she was more beautiful.
