Who is the Reds' Next Manager?

Not saying he would, but I would figure in the long run it would be an upgrade in terms of having more of a chance to be successful on a consistent basis than he would have in Pittsburgh, plus good ownership support.

 

What do you base any of the above on?

He would lead the league in ejections.

The more I think about it the more I like the idea of Proce being the manager. A familiarity with the players already. He seems to be a little bit more fiery than Dusty. And he seems to get the most out of his players which I hope could translate to the everday players.

Gonna be Price, just a hunch and lots of info reading between the lines. If he didn't think he's getting it, he'd already be in Seattle.

I think the lack of leaks about who they are talking to shows that Price is the target.

Here is a completely off the wall suggestion if they are looking for a new face and will consider a first time manager - Scott Rolen.

He left Cards to care for his wife, who was battling brain tumor. She died in June of this year. Maybe Dunc is ready to return to the game. He and Jocketty go back a ways.
