If it makes you feel any better, even if he got the first down they still would have needed to score the touchdown, then they would have needed the two point conversion, then they would have needed to keep Trinity from scoring and finally they would have needed to win in overtime. Nah, wasn't going to happen. Better to end it right there and not let you guys get your hopes up too high.

It's because people aren't able to plan for it. There are people that come from all over the country for this game. That's why the date is pretty stable from year to year, so people can plan accordingly.

Yeah, Curley did a great job running the offense. Zoller did the best he could, but the stage was just too big for him at that moment.

I think X was suffering from a bad case of hubris that game.

I also recall the game where God spared a major beat down when he opened the flood gates.

If X does not beat Trinity this year, their senior class will have never defeated the ROCKS on the varsity level. That would be four straight years. X hasn't won since 2009. I don't think that has ever happened. That darn pendulum. (LOL) Good stuff.
