Tim Tebow’s numbers say it all: 1-for-7, -1 yards, 1 INT, 0.0 rating

I don't hate the guy. He might be a cool dude. I can't stand the hype.

I don't hate the guy either. Just don't want to hear about him and his inability to play QB in the NFL any more...

I do. Just for all those who drank the kool-aid when he went 134-1 and led Denver to the second round of the playoffs.

He's a winner though.....

His 5 minutes should've been up a long time ago.

Any chance the pats don't cut him? If they do this should be it.

1 for 7? If he was a great defensive catcher he'd still get sent down.

Sometimes the box score really does tell the story.

So we’ll just start by telling you what Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow’s stat line was in Friday night’s preseason game: 1 completion in 7 attempts, for -1 yards, with 0 touchdowns, 1 interception and a 0.0 passer rating.

Yes, that was negative yardage. The only pass he completed was a short toss to rookie receiver Josh Boyce, who was tackled a yard behind the line of scrimmage. Tebow’s interception was an absolutely horrible play on which he took a shotgun snap, ran a couple of steps toward the line of scrimmage, and then fired the ball way over the head of intended receiver Kenbrell Thompkins, and right into the hands of Tampa Bay cornerback Mason Robinson. He threw a couple other passes into coverage that easily could have been intercepted.

Folks, an NFL quarterback is simply not supposed to look like this.

Mister Blutarsky. Zero point zero.

You better hope God is no longer in the smoting business, or else you and all your fellow Tebow-hating heathens are screwed! J/k

Mr. Tebow... has no average. All passes, incomplete.

Not looking too good for Mr. Tebow.

Tim Tebow's days with Patriots may be coming to end, gets no playing time vs. Lions

No, I am not a "Tebow hater". I was actually rooting for the guy to succeed.

There are still going to be his supporters that will think he didn't get a fair shot, or that he could make it at another position. If Belichik and the Pats give up on him or couldn't find a way to utilize him, it's gotta signal the end of his career.

Gotta be the end if he gets cut by the Pats. Doesn't mean he's a bad guy or anything, just not an NFL caliber QB right now. He was at least pretty decent a couple of years ago. This league ctaches up with you fast and if you can't adjust or are just super elite you won't last. He is going to be fine, probably outstanding, in Christian or evangelical ministry. Nothing wrong with that. He may end up as an analyst with his popularity. Just because he is not very good doesn't mean anyone hates him. I just don't get why people think they are similar. Manyy more get cut than make it in the NFL, just the way it is at the highest level.

Did you see what transpired in the Jets game last night? It is clear to me that God is punishing the Jets (and specifically, the head coach) for all the embarrassment the Jets caused Tebow last year. If the Patriots cut Tim, watch out!!!

That's the Jet's being the Jet's. The Bronco's seemed to avoid punishment when they cut ties with Tebow.
