March 18, 201313 yr I would say that's true. Until social media and better connectivity to the rivalry I never fully grasped it. You definitely have to be more tolerant of the other here. Both UofL and UK fans alike have many friends who support the other team, so it's "easier" to root for the other in times like this. Outside the city, there are far less relationships like there are here. JMO.
March 18, 201313 yr I will be rooting for the teams who I have winning in my bracket. Which ended up being a lot of local teams. I have UL, OSU, Indiana and Florida in the final four.
