So apprently I do need to correct my posts because I meant to say I also knew it was highly unlikely that Williamstown was going to make a game of it especially when your best player gets kicked off the team.

Apparently you didn't read what I wrote, I never said that they would win but I've seen crazy things happen come tournament time. I just think when you win in the district and get to move on to the region it is a nice win. You guys are acting like I'm making this out to be an all time great win.

I don't need anyone correcting my posts. I consider any district win a nice win because when it comes to tournament time you never know what might happen. I've watched enough basketball to see really good teams get beat when it came to tournament time, that is all I meant by a nice win.

Each district decides if they want to seed or do a blind draw, so that may be the case in the districts when teams don't play each other. If a team is in a district that seeds and they refuse to play teams then they get an automatic forfeit in the seedings.

I believe it will be Grant, SK, Gallatin, Owen, South, Oldham, Collins, and Anderson.

I went to this game because I thought it would be a good one to watch and it was from the standpoint of the Braves shooting so well. It didn't seem to me like Gallatin played the type of defense we are used to seeing from a Jon Jones team. Was it bad defense or great offense? If I'm correct, was this a battle of two #1 seeds? Should Grant County now be considered the team to beat in the region?

I'm glad to see 8th Region teams win, hopefully Owen County will continue it on the boys side tonight. Good luck Friday night.

I agree. At a small school, his team is always in the thick of things in the 8th Region.

Same here with my 2 little ones and their motor. I hope they love basketball too.

This was the second 20 point beat down Gallatin gave to Simon. Of course this 20 points was in the 4th quarter. Simon got rattled by a stiff Jones team who never quits from what I saw. Looks like GC was a better team twice this year. It looked like Gallatin got some confidence when they started hitting shots and it wasn't because Simon was playing bad defense.

Most of the time, in high school games there is no need for a shot clock. Teams like to shoot quick anyways. If you were on the other side of the fence, you wouldn't want a shot clock.

Good Job Randy Parker, I'm just glad I didn't finish last.
