Andrew Sampson was named MVP.

Carr played most of the second half on one leg (cramps) and finished with 37.

Barnes hit a 3 with 2 seconds left for the win.

Congratulations to Coach Steiner and team! Good luck in Regionals!

I believe there was at least 4, if not 5 or 6 seconds on the clock. Because Grant County still was able to inbound the ball and get off a desperation shot...all while the clock was running. Would've liked to have seen what the Braves could've drawn up with 5 or so ticks left, had they still had that last timeout.

Congrats to SK!

5.2 seconds when he hit the 3

no time outs left after barnes hit the 3 with 4.2 seconds. had to take timeout with 17.2 seconds

because the scorekeeper saw blood on Tyler Carrs shorts

Any truth to the rumor that Grant had to burn a timeout because the official scorer pointed out blood on a Grant player jersey?

Someone pointed it out, yes. Who, I have no idea. The GC fans behind me pointed it out before the SK timeout.

Grant also had the ball tied up with 11 seconds left in regulation and wasn't able to get off a good look.

The scorekeeper???? Wow what a way to lose a timeout and the game because of the scorekeeper seeing something the officials on the floor couldn't see! Where was the game played?

Williamstown HS

Both coaches do a great job. They had their guys ready to play. One of the best district games I've seen in the 32nd in recent memory. The players played their guts out. Great players stepped up and played well in a big game. You couldn't ask for more. I only wish there could be two winners in a situation like that but there is not. Great win by S.K. and I don't think anyone wants to play either team in the regions next week.

Why does a coach throw a fit toward an official in a game they just won on a great shot? Did the Fleming Co/Lewis Co. game teach us anything?
