I don't need anyone correcting my posts. I consider any district win a nice win because when it comes to tournament time you never know what might happen. I also it was highly unlikely that Williamstown was going to make a game of it especially when your best player gets kicked off the team. I've watched enough basketball to see really good teams get beat when it came to tournament time, that is all I meant by a nice win.

I also it was highly unlikely that Williamstown was going to make a game of it especially when your best player gets kicked off the team. I've watched enough basketball to see really good teams get beat when it came to tournament time, that is all I meant by a nice win.

 

 

I'm with Coach on this one. It's a win against a team with as little a chance of winning as any in the history of the state. WTown plays hard but just doesn't have the horses.

Apparently you didn't read what I wrote, I never said that they would win but I've seen crazy things happen come tournament time. I just think when you win in the district and get to move on to the region it is a nice win. You guys are acting like I'm making this out to be an all time great win.

At least W-town isn't making excuses about their best player being out or GC playing stall ball or the officiating was bad. Oh and BTW I saw that same stall ball offense from GC last night. They must have felt they couldn't run with Williamstown. And Yes Greatness it was a nice win, to be able to advance to the Region. Most reasonable basketball enthusiast knew what you meant.

Unfortunately W-Town just doesn't have stable ponies...much less horses. Nice community. Wish they had an opportunity to be competitive but don't see it happening anytime soon.
