Who would be in your top five coaches in the state from the last couple of years?

Here is my list:

Feldhaus- Madison Central

Hicks- Scott County

Szabo- Trinity

Wright- Southwestern

Thacker- Rowan County

You have compiled a very good list. I have always been impressed with Humphries GRC, Holland Oldham, Booher at Holmes, Henley at North Oldham and Code at Bishop Brossart. There teams are always pretty good.

You could coach the teams but would you win? I think Billy Hicks is the top coach in the state.

Anytime we played Scott Co, I watched Coach Hicks as much as I watched the game.

John Jones at Gallatin County would be in my top 5. He just flat out wins.

There are so many great coaches in Kentucky, but it all depends how you look at it. Some great coaches are coaching teams that only win half their games. You all named some great coaches- but they all come from great programs! Naming great coaches is very subjective and never very accurate!

Good material makes NOTED COACHES. Maybe not good coaches but noted coaches. Put most of those mentioned coaches in a small school and more than likely you would never had heard of them.
