Speaking in terms of last year, why wouldn't Louisville fans want to brag that they got beat by the champions? UofL gave UK the best game in the tournament last year. Your account of your time in Nashville is definitely strange, but I'm not denying it happened. That being said, I know way more UofL fans that were pulling for UK than against them last year.

Like you said, they want it to be true that every Louisville fan wanted UK to lose last year (and every year), so they can justify their actions this year. It is what it is. The two sides will never see any situation in the same light. That's the nature of the rivalry.
March 17, 201313 yr A few years back I went to see UL play in Nashville the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament. Got tickets through my Uncle who is a professor and big fan. I attended the pre-game pep rally on Friday where UL was opening with Lousiana Lafayette. The entire pep rally was revolved around anti-UK chants and hoping for their demise as opposed to victory in their own game. One of the oddest things I've ever attended. This is jmo but that's not all that unusual. UK/UL is a bitter rival, a lot like Bama/Auburn. I have rooted against UL plenty of times, not as much anymore maybe. Now I say that I won't root against them (unless playing UK, Minn., Butler) but I am not necessarily going to root for them (unless playing UT, Duke or IU) either. Trust me, for me that is an improvement. :lol2:

March 17, 201313 yr Louisville. Don't like some of their obnoxious, beliigerent fans, and I hate them when they play UK. But, fact of the matter is I would like to see the title stay in state. I would like to see the Zags make a run.

Butler 3. Wisconsin 4. Indiana 5. Louisville 6. Cincinnati 7. Valparaiso 8. MTSU 9. Notre Dame (maybe) But if UK was in, that's my number 1. My girl registered for classes last weekend. We drank the koolaid and we SEE BLUE!

MTSU No major problems with your list except for I would drop Indiana to my 69th favorite team in this tournament, maybe Duke being #70.
