KHSAA Selection plans has these two locations for next year's regional tournament but they are wrong. They have Knott for this year but Knott held it last year.

It's in Whitesburg at Letcher Central this year. I personally don't think their gym seats enough people to host it. I believe it seats around 2700. The last time they hosted it they had split sessions on semifinals night, but I don't like it when they do that. I believe the only gyms that should host a regional tournament are the ones that can hold the semifinals without a split session. In our region that would be Knott Central (5,000 capacity) and Perry Central (4,500).
