Longnecks service has been terrible the past two times I've been there.

You could be right. I saw some people working on the Vintage building last weekend.

 

That place hasn't been good luck for the last two tenants.

Beautiful evening spent sitting outside at Keystone in Covington. They have these buffalo chicken bites that are really good. Plus Blinkers across the street had a musician playing on the sidewalk that was really good as well.

Spent a nice evening at the Steinhaus in Elsemere. Good food and a live group out on the patio. Great service pretty neat interior decorating. Is a little pricey though.

Took Clyde's advice. Went to A Tavola (after 3pm mass at St.Louis). Had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids. Really enjoyed 3 different pizzas, some sliders, warmed olives, and bruschette. Wives had some nice salads. Neat place. I'll be back.

Wife and I strolled the riverfront, checked out a bit of the Black Family Reunion, and the ate at Yardhouse. Pizza was very good. Lots of good beers to try.

The little dawgs and I gave Dunkers a shot today, and came away unimpressed. We got mozzarella sticks,Chili Queso Dip and Chips, and the Dunker Rolls (bacon wrapped tater tots), plus An order of Mild and Mild Garlic wings. The wings just didnt have the great flavor, and I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference between the 2. The Chili Queso dip was basically a cup,of chili with a small spoon of cheese in it. The dunker rolls were ok, but not enough to make me return. I think we'll just stick with BW3 for the wing fix.

 

Are the burgers worth going a second time?

It is indeed a very nice place to go and eat and have a beer!

Going to try the Bayou Fish House in Newport this week. Anyone have any experience with them. Had some fish tacos at Goettafest and thought they were outstanding so going to try out the restaraunt.

Great people, food and prices. The owner knows how to please the clients, he's very personable. If you like jalapeno peppers get the bayou bites.

Gumbo is outstanding, as well as everything else I've had there. Enjoy

Wife and I loved the Yardhouse food and service was excellent. Top shelf drinks were a little pricey but I needed a Woodford on the Rocks and she got a Mojito Cocktail. Turkey Burger was house made, roasted roma tomatoes, mozzarella & garlic aïoli with sweet potato fries.

 

The chicken nachos for appetizer was huge and very good. The best of the night though was the dip that they have me for my sweet potato fries. It was a mixture of bacon/cream cheese and maple syrup. I was dipping my Turkeyburger in it by the end of my meal it was so good. In fact I ordered some to go and the server told us she puts it on her pancakes for breakfast.

 

My wife got one of their pizzas and she loved it as well.

 

Great top shelf bar food and excellent presentation/service. Largest beer selection I have ever seen, next time I will go that route.

Took Mrs. TAC out for date day yesterday. Sat outside in Covington at the Main Bite. Great place. Portions small, but very tasty. 2 thumbs up!
