Between 5th and 6th on the same side of the street as Chez Nora.

There is also a little restaurant across the street where we were ignored for 15 minutes before we got up and went across the street to the main bite.

Saw where the 915 in Ft Thomas is going non smoking during kitchen hours. Will have to stop in and check it out.

Mrs. TAC hit up Alfios Buon Cibo in Hyde park square again last night for a special event featuring special meals and wine sampling. We have been there several times. Very nice place. They just won best of taste of blue ash even though they are not located in blue ash.

While she went to that event with the gals, I played 18 holes of golf than checked out Walt's hitching post. Excellent!! first time I have been down since the reopening. Very impressed. I will be back.

 

Also heard a rumor that one of my favorite restaurants may be closing. Anyone hear that John Phillips in Crestview Hills may be short lived in this world?

Not sure what their kitchen hours are but he's free to do it around them at this point. Starts September 1st.

Went to the Ft. Thomas Merchants and Music festival this past Saturday and got dinner from "Texas Joe - The Legal Mexican" food truck. Tacos were outstanding. Some of the best I've ever had in this area. Anyone else ever had them?

So this was good? Just got an email that their truck will be at my work location tomorrow. May have to try it.

Good would be a vast understatement IMO.

 

I got a chipotle chicken taco and a braised brisket taco, and they were outstanding. The "slaw" fixings they put on them may have been the best part. Beans, corn, green chili sauce, and a few other things...Yum!

Feel privileged you got food, they vastly underestimated the number of people that would be there. Most booths ran out of food.

Yeah, we got there at like 6 pm and most places were starting to run low. The food trucks seemed to have enough for the entire night though.

Wonder what the crowd estimates were vs prior years. Good weather certainly boosted things.
