Is the blister right at the top of the shoe where the shoe hits the heal? There are also pads that you can stick right inside the shoe for that.

Not at the top or the bottom where the shoe covers the back of my foot. Almost exactly in the middle. I walked 7.4 tonight with just the band-aid & there was discomfort, but it wasn't difficult to walk that. The night before, with all the athletic tape on top of the band-aid, it took everything to just get my 5.62.

I'll see if I can find what your daughter wore. I'm not going to do just the band-aid again because I lost a lot of skin tonight. It's pretty disgusting. :lol2:

But this is what I get for all the Whoppers & Orange Leaf.

Today we do our last workout of Insanity(with a twist) round two.

We, my brother and I weighed in yesterday.

I am down to 189.2 (Started round one at 228, I believe)

I am down to a 32 pant size(Started out wearing a 38)

We are completely changing up things for round three.

We will be adding some workouts from the Tapout XT two series, along with workouts from Tapout XT.

Hopefully I hit my goal of 180 missed by nine pounds lat time.

But on the good side during the last round I went from a size 36 down the a 32, so I need only to drop one more size to him my ending goal.

Good luck all.

Have not updated much as I have been getting lost in watching football.

Randy,

1. Get some moleskin, it is great to prevent blisters. Something hikers use often.

2. Not sure why you are wearing two pair of socks but I'd go invest in some hiking and/or running socks. Remember, "cotton is rotten". I like a company called Swiftwick.

Randy, I would take a few days off and let it heal.

Good luck to everyone during their next round of what ever you are doing.

I am taking 3 days off or so and going again.

I'd really rather not do that, but I know I might have to.

Sometimes it's just the best thing to do. I hate taken off for nagging injuries as well but a few days off could fix it versus trying to fight through and making it last weeks. You could try walking barefoot.

Just let it heal. Do some bodyweight circuits for a couple of weeks. It'll still burn the calories and you won't have to wear shoes, so you can let your skin recover.

Week 2 of Wendler's Boring but Big will be in the books after deadlifting today. Ramping up calories 100/day each week. Next week will be at 2500 on non-workout days and 2900 on work-out days. I already feel like I'm recovering better. I imagine that I'll top off at about 3200 and 3600. I'm interested in seeing what that does, since everything I read says that I need to be getting b/n 2700 and 3100 for just weight maintenance at 215 lbs. If I gain weight up to 225, I won't worry. Strength #s are all that matter right now.

The cooler temps are here which allowed me to leave the house this morning before sunrise and run 16 miles. I did not feel all that great this morning on the run, but I was happy in a way because it had been a while since I had a bad day.

I very much appreciate your input, but I have no idea what body weight circuits are. :lol2:

Use yourself as the weight, no gym required. Squats, pushups, burpees, chair dips, jump squats, etc.

I don't know if I magically got really out of shape in a matter of just a couple of weeks or if my new gym is just kicking my butt that much. I get there just before 9:30 5-6 days a week and go hard for a solid 1:15 minutes. By the times it's all said and done every article of clothing I have on is soaked. It's funny because I was just so acclimated to my old gym that it took me switching to a whole new location to really be able to get after it again. I'm finally starting to get used to the different machines and locations. I'm thinking the first part of October I'm going to start writing out the work outs again. As of right now, just showing up and diving in has seemed to have worked pretty well the last few weeks.

Ah, I see. Basically, the Insanity program.

If I have to look at Shawn T one more time in my life, I'm going to punch a hole in my television.

Thanks for the help, everyone.
