Ran 5 miles yesterday, furthest I've run in probably a year. Was feeling good until about the 3 1/2 mile mark, started stiffening up but was able to finish. Was looking to do it in 35:00 or less but ended up with 41:00.

Our usual day off is Friday, but we had to take Monday off(Will work out Friday)

The arthritis around the extra lumbar in my back has been flaring up.

I was able to struggle through both workouts yesterday and plan on working out again tonight.

My weight is now 194.6 , so this is all worth it.

Preparing for the final phase of the year. Can't believe that it is here already. The next two weeks I'm going to be down to about 1500 calories a day to burn some fat before the push begins and work out 6 intense times total. Then the calories bump up gradually over the course of the next 4 months until the end of the year. Hopefully I can come close to reaching my goal #s.

Day 1 of month 2 round 2 Insanity.

Max Interval Plyo.

It's been about 10 days break from the DVDs, so it was not fun.

But I got through it, I feel good, and motivated to do it again tomorrow.

"Come on people, LET'S GO!"

Did the 55 minute sports cardio yesterday.

The pain and stiffness in my back forced me to improvise by doing some other moves in place of a few of the jumping exercises.

As they say no pain no gain.

I can't do the rings, I can do the bar. Way to go, dude.

I've been able to do the rings for about a year but could never get the bar. Everyone told me the bar is easier but for some reason I just couldn't get it. Something clicked yesterday and it's like I've been doing them for ever.

I've read a BUNCH about endomorphic, ectomorphic, and mesomorphic body types and their macronutrient needs (percentages speaking). I've read a ton about the blends and trying to zero in on what will work for me. I think that I have it somewhat figured out, and I'm going to give it a shot w/ my own diet plan. Hopefully it will help w/ my strength program and recovery w/out bulking up too terribly bad. We shall see.

Yep.

A very basic one is this article, Bodybuilding.com - Ask The Ripped Dude: Is There A Magical Macronutrient Ratio For Fat Loss?.

I created a spread sheet for the next 5 months that has my meals planned out in 2 week increments. I'm adding 100 calories every two weeks until I get to 3300. At 216, I'm supposed to be there, though it is a ton of food.

Core Cardio and Balance. Nice workout after 2 very intense workouts.

I did this one instead of the Max Recovery workout because I prefer a moderate cardio workout than a yoga workout. :lol2:
