Another day of round two completed.

Event one of the Games is complete. This was the pool event. 2 time defending champ Rich Froning is off to a bad start finishing in 30th. Rookie Jordan Troyan destroyed the field taking the win. It doesn't hurt that he was an All-American swimmer in college.

You'd think they could do a live stream of the row event instead of the lame computer graphic.

Watching someone row for 21,000+ meters would be mind numbing. I assume their doing the graphic so you can just check in every now and then to get updates. At a 2:00 pace it will take them close to 1 1/2 hours to finish. Just doesn't make for good viewing.

I get that. I'd rather have the stream playing on mute while doing something else. You can barely read the screen too.

Yeah, the picture is pretty distorted. Thought maybe it was just my computer.

Came in better on my iPhone than the computer.

20 min of weights, then

Plyometric cardio circuit

Awesome morning for a jog. Woke up and it was 60 degrees so I had to hit the pavement. Knocked out 7 miles in 54:54, 7:50 pace. Great start to the day!

7 miles sounds like an early end to my week. It's off to do some chest and tris this morning and maybe 3 miles if I've got the time.

Down to 220 now. Still not really hitting the gym very much. Need to work on that. Amazing what a decent diet can do for you.

Down to 218 (as of yesterday) with a bad last few weeks. I'm pleased with that. My new goal now is 210.

It might not be impressive to you but man, I go 2-4 miles and can't touch that pace.
